Project Details
In 2015, Exeter-based developer Eagle One were granted permission to acquire the former Royal Eye Infirmary in Plymouth with the aims to develop the grade II listed building into 15 luxurious retirement apartments, with a modern extension alongside the property to provide 55 student flats. Morgan Sindall have been contracted to facilitate the re-development.
The structural steels for the extension have already been erected, and AF Protection Ltd. have been instructed to provide an intumescent paint protection system to selected required steels across the project. Operatives were on site the first week in November and are looking to complete the installations within a week.
